Calorie-counting platform MyFitnessPal is now making it easier to log recipes from MyRecipes.com and CookingLightDiet.com into its app. Now when you visit any recipe page on those sites, a Log It Button (featured next to social buttons that share to Facebook and Twitter) will automatically add the recipe into your MyFitnessPal food diary. When accessing the sites on a mobile device, an option to import the recipe appears. This not only saves time by not manually tapping-in recipes into the platform, but it also makes building customized meal plans simpler. While there are already a collection of recipes added to MyFitnessPal — in fact, 28 million to date — the company is now giving its more than 65 million users a better way to sift through recipes that work with their daily calorie budget.
